Remaining Macros Calculator
See how many calories and grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fat remain today—plus a flexible average for the meals you still plan to eat.
Split the remainder
See a simple average for the meals you still plan to eat.
Remaining today
1,100 kcal
70g protein · 120g carbs · 37g fat
Average per remaining meal
550 kcal
35g protein · 60g carbs · 18.5g fat
This is arithmetic, not a meal prescription. It is fine for daily intake to vary; use the result as a flexible planning reference rather than a requirement to hit every number exactly.
How this tool works
The tool subtracts consumed calories and macros from the corresponding daily targets. Negative remainders are shown as zero so the result remains easy to use as a forward-looking planning reference.
The per-meal row divides the remainder equally across the selected number of meals. Real meals do not need to be equal, and daily targets do not need to be hit exactly.
Protein and carbohydrate contribute about four calories per gram and fat about nine. The tool flags a material mismatch between the calorie remainder and the energy represented by the macro remainder so you can check the original inputs.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to divide my macros evenly across meals?
No. The equal split is only a planning shortcut. Meal size and macro distribution can vary with appetite, schedule, preference, and training.
Why do calories and macros sometimes disagree?
Rounded targets, label rounding, fiber conventions, sugar alcohols, alcohol, and data-entry differences can all create a mismatch.
What happens when I exceed a target?
That nutrient shows zero remaining. The tool does not recommend compensating or restricting later; it simply avoids presenting a negative amount as something to eat.
